An Appeal 

          Started in 1983 , Ramakrishna Math, Barisha has its main activity in running a “Home for the Aged.” (Both men and women),Besides this , the centre has many other activities like running a library, a sale counter for Ramakrishna_Vivekananda  literature, many relief work, organizing Devotee Convention and Youth Convention, running a GAP Project (for children of the Slum Areas), a charitable dispensary (both homoeopath and allopathy), a Physiotherapy unit etc. One of the most important activities of this centre worth mentioning is to arrange for “Mantra Diksha” when the Gurus of our Sangha come here from our Headquarters and initiate 1000 per year. This process continues for a good number of days. At least twice or more such initiation takes place in this centre in a year.

      The process takes place inside our temple during which period all the doors and windows are kept closed as a practice and the Gurudeva and the devotees numbering around 125 who are being initiated only may stay inside the Temple . During summer, to stay in a closed room for about 7 to 8 hours create a lot of trouble for them and sometimes one or two persons may fall ill.

       As such we are badly in need of a few permanent AC machine to be installed inside the Temple . The total cost of which may come around Rs. 6,00,000/- including installation charges. 

       Besides our Monks Quarter is badly damaged and is required to repair/ renovated immediately, the cost of which has calculated by the experts around Rs. 4,00,000/- only.

      We then appeal to our devotees and well wishers to extend their helping hand for both the purposes total estimate of which is Rs. 10,00,000/- by donating either in cash or in kind. All donations will be thankfully acknowledged . All Donations are exempted from Income Tax under section 80G (5) (VI) of IT act 1961. Donation may be send online in our Bank Account also, the details of which are given below. All Online Donations should be followed with an email stating therein , the Donor’s name, full addres, PAN/ Aadhaar number and the purpose of the Donation.
